Tube Bender Sound Samples - Please note: this pedal is now sold out and will be unavailable for the foreseeable future
The first three samples were recorded with a Fender Stratocaster guitar played through the Tube Bender into a Fender Pro Reverb combo amp at moderate volume, with the recording taken attenuated direct from the amps speaker; The last three samples used the same guitar and Tube Bender pedal, but via a Selmer Treble and Bass 50 Mk2 valve amp set clean via a closed back 2 by 12 cab loaded with Celestion G12 speakers and mic'd up approx 6 inches away with an off-axis Shure SM58 dynamic microphone. No EQ or compression was used on these samples. To see the distortion clipping in the waveform, if you have a recent version of Windows Media Player, set the display to Bars and Waves: Scope. The distortion that you hear comes entirely from the Tube Bender and not the Amp.
